Other NOVA Wings

you flew ?

My first wing was a Nova Philou (small hot pink). I've flown the Mamboo, Ibex (17), Ra (med). I love my Jamboo tandem glider and have had a lot of wonderful flights with students on it. Planning to get Mentor 2 small soon, and maybe a new tandem wing. Nova ROCKS!

Successes 1) Becoming a female tandem pilot (one of a handful in US); 2) Finishing 3rd in my first competition, US Nationals 2004 in Telluride, Colorado; 3) Learning to tow, coach and drive (boat or truck) simultaneously (don't try this at home!); 3) 4-hour tandem flight with student in Valle de Bravo; and 4) The many competant, safe, awesome pilots I've trained and awesome folks I get to work with on a daily basis.

What does paragliding mean to you ? Everything…living life to it’s fullest; freedom; not holding back; living your dreams; sharing the magic through tandem flight and teaching. Flying taught me how to live life the way it is meant to be lived. Living and flying are now completely intertwined.

Targets for

this season ?

Continue hiking & flying 14,000+ ft msl mountains in Colorado. Break tandem distance record for Colorado. Increase personal best XC flight. Safe flights. Another Nova camp guided trip in Summer 2011. Create more safe pilots in the US. Get more folks loving Nova gliders.
