Interpendency of Development and Fabrication
Peter Mack has been running the Factory in Hungary since 2001 and is instrumental in developing NOVA-paragliders, because of his competence in the area of Flow-Simulation. Especially during the prototype stadium, an active know-how transfer between the development- and the fabrication division is of great advantage: Certain problems with prototypes can already be detected during fabrication, which increases the efficiency of the development considerably.
Other important contributions to NOVAs success are the extensive material tests we perform in Hungary. With specially designed testing devices, we simulate the aging-behaviour of different cloths and lines to evaluate the best material for the NOVA wings. The high durability of our gliders proves the success of these elaborate tests.

Quality assurance during fabrication
In 2002 Peter Mack restructured the Hungarian company to achieve an increase in productivity and quality. Special quality checks are now already done in the very beginning of the fabrication process. These checks are followed by a large number of standardised tests throughout the entire manufacturing process.
The completed glider is then subjected to thorough computer aided testing to ensure that NOVAs high expectations are met.
